Do you work to a fixed quote?

Yes. Every project runs on an itemised fixed scope you approve before work starts; any change is a written variation you sign off first.

Do I need council-approved plans?

It depends on the work — structural changes and extensions usually do, cosmetic work usually doesn't. Confirm what applies to your property with your architect or the City of Cape Town; we'll help you scope it.
